Biography

Mrs. Hogenson graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 1987 with a specialization in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Education with Great Distinction. Since that time she has taught grade one and been a substitute teacher.

She home schooled all three of her children and in 2006, became a teacher /mentor with the Westwind Alternate School. She now works with Distance Learning students and their families offering tutorials, group instruction, mentoring, ongoing support and feedback.

She is an advocate for choice in education and feels honored to be a member of the WAS learning community, both as a teacher and a parent.
